Position Overview:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. This position ensures that restrooms, common areas, break rooms, conference rooms, and office spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Attention to detail, time management, and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols are essential.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Restroom checklist (Full clean once daily, check twice, and spot clean as needed Monday through Friday)
- Put out wet floor signs along with provided "Cleaning in Progress" sign and block the restroom door with your cart before beginning
- Put chemical in all toilets/urinals and let sit for 15 minutes
- High dust corners and light fixtures
- Clean mirror, sink, and fixtures, using the stainless-steel cleaner to shine all stainless-steel materials
- Look at all the walls, wipe down if necessary
- Restock toilet paper, paper towels, and soap as needed.
- Clean the toilet
- Wipe down the exterior from top to bottom, ensuring it is completely clean
- Sanitize handles
- Scrub interior of toilet with a toilet brush (including rim)
- Clean urinal
- Remove and replace urinal pad (as needed)
- Scrub exterior top to bottom
- Scrub Interior with a toilet brush (including any crevices)
- Sanitize handles
- Remove trash and replace trash bags
- Sanitize and shine trash receptacles in each bathroom
- Sweep and mop floors
- Wipe down and sanitize main door handles
- Break room/sitting area/coffee station checklist (check twice, full clean once daily):
- Wipe down tables and chairs
- Check and wipe out microwave(s) if needed
- Wipe down kitchen and coffee makers
- Sweep entire room/area
- Mop as needed at least 5 times a week
- Conference room (general upkeep/client/visitor clean):
- Clean coffee pot and ice bowl
- Allow items to dry completely and place in designated area
- Empty and take out trash
- Wipe down counters and conference room table
- Sweep and mop
- Clean ALL glass and deep sanitize room
- Sanitize door handles
- Offices and lobby (3 times weekly):
- Sweep and mop
- Sanitize door handles
- Common areas of production floors
- Monday: Vacuum/sweep/mop lower level, including Tech Foundry classroom and the 5 offices
- Tuesday: Sweep/mop 1st Floor (secure rooms included, ask prior to doing)
- Wednesday: Sweep/mop 2nd Floor (secure rooms included, ask prior to doing)
- Thursday: Clean all glass
- Friday: High dust throughout the building
- Additional tasks:
- Daily:
- Leaf blow front of building (AM only)
- Sanitize door handles throughout the building
- Spot clean any messes that are seen throughout the building
- Spot-check check glass daily to ensure cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Must receive approval from your Delivery Manager to apply
- Must be employed by Provalus for 6 months
