Location: North Wilkesboro, NC

Position Overview:

This full-time position is a part of the OPS IT team and reports to the IT Sr. Manager. Work will be performed onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. Occasional (Pre-scheduled) off-hours work will be required. This position will provide on-call support for after-hours issues that may arise on the North Wilkesboro, NC site. Remote work is possible with prior supervisor approval. There is potential for travel to other Provalus sites. While this position is on-site in the North Wilkesboro, NC office, it is part of a national IT support team. This position is expected to support users onsite in North Wilkesboro, across all OPS offices, and remote workers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site tier 1 support for the North Wilkesboro, NC office.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connection issues.
  • Support and maintain asset and inventory management.
  • Monitor the IT ticket queue and work to resolve IT support issues across all of OPS.
  • Manage and complete assigned tickets.
  • Troubleshoot and support both Windows and Apple machines.
  • Support the setup and configuration of new client onboarding.
  • Work with the Network Admins to support and maintain the on-site network.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in a technical support role doing desktop or help desk support.
  • Currently on Provalus billable team with good performance history.
  • The ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Must be able to continue to learn and grow new skills, as well as learn new technologies as needed.
  • Ability to follow up with end users to provide status updates in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to manage tasks and deadlines in a fact paced environment.
  • A strong ability to deliver technical and customer support both in- person or over the phone/Teams.
  • Ticketing system experience is preferred.
