Position Summary
The PowerPoint & Proposal Writer / RFP Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the company’s growth by developing client facing and customized materials, and strategically aligned proposals and presentations. This position is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of proposal and RFP responses — from analyzing requirements and gathering content to writing, editing, formatting, and final production. The ideal candidate combines strong writing skills, strategic thinking, and design expertise to create materials that clearly communicate value, capability, and differentiation.


Key Responsibilities
Proposal & RFP Management
  • Lead and coordinate the development of proposals and RFP/RFI responses in collaboration with business development, sales, and technical teams.
  • Analyze RFP requirements, create response outlines, assign content responsibilities, and ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and compliance standards.
  • Write, edit, and tailor proposal content to align with client needs and company value propositions.
  • Maintain and update a centralized content library of standard proposal sections, bios, and case studies.
  • Manage proposal schedules, version control, and final submission packaging (digital or physical).
PowerPoint & Presentation Design
  • Design and produce high-quality, on-brand PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, proposals, and executive briefings.
  • Translate complex data, concepts, and narratives into clear, visually compelling slides.
  • Ensure consistency in design standards, formatting, and messaging across all presentations and business development materials.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine storytelling and key messaging for strategic presentations.
Writing & Editing
  • Draft and refine proposal content, executive summaries, cover letters, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and persuasive tone across all materials.
  • Proofread and edit for grammar, consistency, and brand voice.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Business, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in proposal writing, business development support, or RFP management — preferably in professional services, technology, or government contracting sectors.
  • Proven ability to design and format professional PowerPoint presentations (advanced PowerPoint skills required).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and proposal management software (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO, Qvidian) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of branding and visual storytelling principles preferred.
