The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue by selling telecommunications products and services, including mobile (wireless), high-speed internet, and video/entertainment solutions. This role prioritizes wireless sales as the primary product focus, with added responsibility for bundling services to maximize customer value. The position operates in a high-volume, quota-driven sales environment and requires closing skills and consultative selling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Sell products and services, including new line activations, upgrades, and plan changes
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets with performance metrics focused on units, upgrades and revenue achievement
- Promote and sell bundled solutions including internet and entertainment services
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and conduct outbound sales follow-up outreach as needed
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
- Present pricing, promotions, and product features clearly and effectively
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services, including accessories, protection plans, and multi-line accounts
- Overcome customer objections and close sales in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM systems
- Stay current on product offerings, pricing updates, and competitive positioning
Qualifications - Preferred
- 1–3 years of experience selling bundled products or services
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate CRM systems (Do we not include this based on the area?)
Compensation
- Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission. Incentives are primarily tied to performance, including unit sales, upgrades, and revenue generation. Total earnings will vary based on individual performance.
Work Environment
This role operates in an inside sales environment and may be based on site. The position requires extended periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and handling a high volume of customer interactions.
