Location: Near any Provalus office; Jasper, TX, Henderson, TX or Crockett, TX-- must be willing to travel up to 40% to support new site deployments
The IT Infrastructure team is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Network Administrator to join our growing team. This is a remote-friendly position based near one of our Provalus delivery centers, with a meaningful travel requirement to support new office buildouts and existing site needs. As Provalus continues to expand into new communities across the U.S., this role will be critical to standing up network environments from the ground up and ensuring each location meets our enterprise performance and security standards.

This individual will take primary ownership of our network infrastructure across all Provalus locations, including firewall management, wireless and switching administration, SNMP-based monitoring, and hands-on new site deployments. A broad technical skillset, strong documentation habits, the ability to work independently, and a methodical approach to change management are essential.

Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience, including:
  • Network design, configuration, and administration in a multisite enterprise environment
  • Nextgeneration firewall management and security policy administration
    • Frtinet (FortiGate) -- preferred
    • IPsec VPN, ADVPN, SD-WAN cnfiguration and management
    • FrtiManager / FortiAnalyzer a plus
  • Wireless and switching infrastructure
    • Aruba access pints, AOS-CX switches, and Aruba Central -- preferred
  • SNMPbased monitoring platforms
    • LgicMonitor -- actively used in our environment
    • Prir experience with Zenoss, Nagios, or similar acceptable
  • Deep TCP/IP knowledge
    • Understanding f OSI model required
    • BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, QS, DHCP, DNS
  • Exposure to cloud networking
  • New site network deployments - rack and stack, ISP coordination, firewall config, and turn-up
  • Strong documentation skills, including network topology diagrams and IP address management (IPAM)
  • Independent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 40%, including to rural locations, sometimes on short notice

Preferred:
  • Fortinet NSE 4 or higher certification
  • Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA) or Aruba Certified Network Professional (ACNP)
  • Experience in a BPO, contact center, or distributed workforce environment
  • Familiarity with audit procedures (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience
