Position Summary
The Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for coaching, developing, and driving performance for a team of Inside Sales Representatives.  This role prioritizes wireless sales performance while promoting bundled solutions to maximize revenue and customer value.
The Team Lead operates in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment and is accountable for team performance against key sales metrics, including units, upgrades, revenue, and conversion rates. This role leads by example, reinforces consultative selling techniques, and ensures consistent execution of sales processes and customer experience standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Inside Sales Representatives to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, including:
  • Conduct regular call coaching, side-by-sides, and performance feedback sessions to improve closing skills and consultative selling techniques
  • Ensure team adherence to sales processes, scripting, compliance standards, and CRM documentation
  • Support representatives in handling complex customer interactions, objections, and escalations
  • Drive focus on upselling and cross-selling (accessories, protection plans, multi-line accounts, and bundled services)
  • Identify training gaps and deliver ongoing skill development for product knowledge, promotions, and competitive positioning
  • Reinforce a high-performance, accountability-driven culture while maintaining strong employee engagement
  • Track and report team performance trends and provide actionable insights to leadership



Qualifications – Preferred
  • 2–5 years of inside sales experience
  • 1+ year of leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience in a quota-driven environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance
  • Strong coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable coaching plans
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and performance tracking tools
Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary plus performance-based incentives. Incentives are tied to team performance, including overall sales, revenue achievement, wireless metrics, and conversion rates.
Work Environment
This role operates in an inside sales environment and is typically site-based. It involves extended periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and managing a high volume of team and customer interactions.
