As the Technical Trainer, your daily responsibilities will include providing entry-level employees with the training they need to successfully start a career as an entry-level analyst in support of Provalus clients. The training schedule and curriculum will vary by class and location, and the Trainer will be responsible for becoming proficient in all training content, identifying necessary changes or modifications to existing training, and delivering training to employee groups on an ongoing and as-needed basis. Travel to other Provalus facilities to deliver training is required as part of this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and deliver live, virtual training classes, hands-on technical demonstrations, and multimedia curricula.
- Assess individualized and group training needs as required to deliver on client and team expectations by gathering requirements and making adjustments to content and delivery of training curriculum.
- Adjust teaching style based on feedback and constructive improvement recommendations.
- Demonstrate effective instruction skills and ability to engage students in the classroom while providing a strong focus on mentoring and development of student success.
- Develop expertise in the functionality and operation of critical enterprise applications and processes to successfully provide advanced training and knowledge on an ongoing basis.
- Assist with the development of client and team-specific training curriculum and work cross-functionally with other workstreams to successfully deliver high-quality training output.
- Ensure training effectiveness by reviewing end-of-class surveys, conducting monthly/ quarterly retrospectives, gathering user feedback, and providing continuous reporting of training KPIs, including average scores, classroom performance, etc.
- Provide timely feedback to individual user questions on training or other related questions.
- Participate in daily and weekly team meetings as required.
- Collaborate on innovative methods to improve adoption and user confidence in systems.
Qualifications:
Role Requirements
- Trainer experience highly preferred (Professional or volunteer).
- Passion for mentoring and coaching of others with related experience in a Training, Leadership, or Management position.
- Strong virtual training presence and facilitation skills.
- End-user focused; experienced with change management and adoption strategies highly preferred.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical terms to a variety of user groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time is required for this position.
Preferred
- Experience with Learning Management Tools.
- Advanced technical training and/ or knowledge, preferably in IT Service Desk and/ or Network Operations.
- Experience designing technical course material.
- Certifications (trainer/instructor focused).
